1.      "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald: Set in the 1920s, the novel tells the story of Jay Gatsby and his obsession with a woman named Daisy Buchanan. Gatsby, a wealthy and mysterious man, throws extravagant parties in hopes that Daisy will attend one and they can be reunited.
